Ever since Red Lobster announced in May that it had filed for bankruptcy protection, longtime fan Flavor Flav has done whatever he could to try to keep the restaurant chain in business.
It was last month that the hip-hop legend shared photos of massive Red Lobster spreads at his home, buying every menu item in an effort to help keep his favourite eatery afloat and “save the Cheddar Bay Biscuits.”

A week after his viral post, the seafood chain and the man known for the massive clock chain around his neck partnered up to mark the official return of Red Lobster’s Crabfest.
The 65-year-old was even featured in an ad for “the most flavourful Crabfest ever.”
Now, after proving his love of the restaurant, the Public Enemy star was bestowed with the ultimate honour: his own signature menu items.
For a limited time, the duo are collaborating once again for an epic meal.
While it won’t be on the regular menu, guests in the know can order the special off-menu item — just tell your server your items from Flavor Flav’s Faves which includes Maritime Lobster Tail, Snow Crab Legs, Garlic Shrimp and Bacon Mac & Cheese, plus the choice of one side, all on one glorious plate.

Red Lobster’s bankruptcy failing came soon after the company shut down dozens of restaurants in the United States.
In a statement shared the day of the filing, Red Lobster said it would “drive operational improvements, simplify the business through a reduction in locations, and pursue a sale of substantially all of its assets as a going concern.”
